The IBM 2078 Storwize V5000 SFF Expansion Model 24E enables you to increase the capacity of your Storwize V5000. It features dual expansion canisters and holds up to twenty-four (24) 2.5-inch SAS drives in a compact 2U, 19-inch rack mount enclosure. It is supported with both the Storwize V5000 LFF Control Enclosure and the Storwize V5000 SFF Control Enclosure.

• Two node canisters with 16 GB cache (system total)
• 8 Gb Fibre Channel (FC), 10 Gb iSCSI / Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE), 6 Gb SAS, and 1 Gb iSCSI connectivity options
• Control enclosures and expansion enclosures supporting twelve 3.5-inch large form factor (LFF) or twenty-four 2.5-inch small form factor (SFF) drives
• Scaling for up to 480 drives per system with the attachment of 19 Storwize V5000 expansion enclosures and up to 960 drives in a two-way clustered configuration
