When fully populated with 8 GB FB-DIMMs, the system provides 128 GB per processor or a system total of 512 GB. There are 8 PCIe slots, two of which are shared with the integrated XAUI/10 Gb Ethernet slots.

This system provides the efficiencies of the Chip Mutithreaded Technology (CMT) for exceptional throughput with high levels of multiuser environments typical with web serving, enterprise applications,and especially those involving databases and/or server consolidation.
